Single-pass color laser printer, A4/Legal, PCL 6, PostScript Level 3, 16 ppm colour/grayscale. duplex, 10/100 MBit ethernet connection.
Best results are probably obtained when the printer is used in PostScript mode with a PPD file from the printer's driver CD.
Brother publishes proprietary Linux drivers for CUPS and LPD for most of their laser printers and multi-function devices, including SANE drivers for the scanners. They can be downloaded free of charge on their Linux driver page.
