tested under ubuntu 7.10, automatically installed and can print normal, economy normal, photo, high photo, and it will print on cd's or dvd's. if you are using xubuntu you need to install the cups drivers (cupsys-driver-gutenprint escputil foomatic-db-gutenprint gutenprint-locales) or just install ubuntu-desktop (but continue logging in with xubuntu
